Inspired by a carved Asian lacquered box, this modern residence brings together elements from all of Asia; starting with warm tones from the Middle East to abstract hand painted patterns on the walls that represent bamboo from the Far East. The lacquered ceiling treatments create a reflective, multi-dimensional experience as the long stretch of ceiling encapsulates two fireplaces, similar to the way Asia spans far-reaching countries.
